HOW TO CLEAR YOUR CACHE

What is Cache? Basically your browser or the website stores your data so that your site leads quickly and all the data from your site doesn’t have to be loaded every time the page reloads.

If you made a change to a post/ page, these changes may not appear on your site. This means that you may need to clear or purge your cache.

Here are the main ways to clear your cache in order to fix this:

BROWSER

Check your browser settings and make sure to clear your cache and cookies.  Once you do this, refresh the page of your site and see if you see the edits you’ve made; or

HOSTING/ SERVER CACHE

Many host providers will automatically install a caching plugin on your site and you should see the Caching icon in the top bar of your WordPress dashboard. If you hover or click on this icon you will be able to purge your cache.

PLUGIN CACHING

If your hosting doesn’t automatically include a cache plugin you can try some of the below options:

LITESPEED CACHE – To clear the cache using the LiteSpeed Cache plugin, in the top bar of your Dashboard hover over the LiteSpeed Cache icon and click on “Purge All”

W3 TOTAL CACHE – To clear the cache using the W3 Total Cache plugin, in the top bar of your Dashboard hover over “Performance” and click on “Purge All Caches”

WP FASTEST CACHE – To clear the cache using the W3 Fastest Cache plugin, in the top bar of your Dashboard hover over “Delete Cache” and click on “Clear All Cache”

WP SUPER CACHE – To clear the cache using the W3 Super Cache plugin, in the top bar of your Dashboard click on “Delete Cache” and all the cache on your site will be deleted

If you’ve cleared all your caches and you you still dont see your changes, contact your host and have them disable server caching on your website.
